Where Do My Donations Go?

Monies raised through all the events put on by the IM ABLE Foundation supports programs & individuals that want to get active. We have purchased handcycles, snow ski's and supported programs that encourage physical activities. Being disabled is expensive and the cost of equipment is double that of the cost for an able bodied individual. Cost of a single handcycle is between $1400-$3500, a mono ski $3600 or a racing chair $2500. Even the cost of a sport everyday wheelchair can be upwards of $3000. Families with disabled children can find it impossible to purchase this equipment when they will grow out of it in a few years so we will help offset the cost or purchase the equipment at no charge.
