IM scout...

After an effort to battle the cancer that had infected her leg, owners Matt & Jan had a tough decision to make. Scout is a very active hound mix and loves getting out on the trails for a run. Her tumor had repeatedly come back after treatment to remove it had failed. The options were to put her down or to amputate. The decision was made to keep Scout and remove the leg that was affected.

After her surgery she had some work to do but you could tell right away that she still had a lot of fight left in her. Over the course of the next few months Matt & Jan took her further and further on her three legs and before they knew it she was back to her old self and chasing anything that moved in the woods. She is back to tormenting her housemate George, another hound mix, and showing everyone that she can still get up and move!!!! We love our new IM ABLEMascot Scout!!!
